The softened edges of the heads improve paint durability and adhesion by lessening the likelihood of cracking and chipping often experienced with the sharper edge, hex head dumbbells. The knurled handles are ergonomically contoured to fit comfortably in the user's palm.
Handles are hydraulically pressed creating a "fishtail" handle end. The handles of the dumbbells are then permanently embedded in the heads by pouring molten iron around the fishtailed ends of a thick, cast iron shaft improving the strength of the head/handle joint. Pro Hex Dumbbells
Commercial Fitness Equipment Warranty
Our warranty applies to normal use within a home or a commercial gym. We will replace these dumbbells for one year if the structure breaks or bends as a result of craftsmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear from everyday use, or chipping of the paint. York Barbell will only replace what you received, and will not cover incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser, and is void when transferred. This warranty is only valid within the United States.
