Tiny Hurdles are designed for athletes who need to keep their feet somewhat low to the ground for change of direction and quick lateral motion, and have some explosive energy. They are only 9 inches high, teaching athletes proper movement form without many exaggerated motions. Tiny Hurdles are ideal for court-sports such as basketball, as well as the cutting motions of football. A secondary role of Tiny Hurdles is to be used by young or small athletes to perform the same, small linear and power drills as those of the somewhat larger Mini Hurdles.
Tiny Hurdles are made of durable, molded PVC plastic, designed to withstand the abuse of all types of athletes. This construction emphasizes safety for the athlete's workout, while making the hurdles virtually indestructible.
Tiny Hurdles are 9 inches in height. They teach athletes proper lateral movement form and help athletes adapt to faster patterns of footwork, but with a somewhat longer stride than with Micro-Hurdles. They are great for preparation in some areas dealing with lateral-speed training and some areas of anaerobic sprinting. As stated before, the 9 inch hurdles can also be substituted by somewhat smaller athletes for the larger hurdles.
